Summary: Glide reads your swim data from Apple HealthKit. Your data stays on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal or health information.

What Glide Accesses

Glide requests read-only access to the following HealthKit data types:

Pool swim workouts
Lap events (timing, stroke type)
Swimming stroke count samples
Workout metadata (pool length)

This data is used solely to compute swim metrics such as SWOLF, pace, stroke count, and distance per stroke, and to display them within the app.

What Glide Does Not Do

Does not write data back to HealthKit
Does not collect or store personal information
Does not transmit health data to any server
Does not use analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs
Does not require an account or login
Does not share data with third parties

Data Storage

All data processing happens locally on your device. Glide queries HealthKit each time you open the app and does not maintain a separate database of your health information.

HealthKit

Glide's use of HealthKit data complies with Apple's HealthKit guidelines. Health data accessed through HealthKit is not used for advertising or data mining purposes, and is never transferred to third parties.

Children's Privacy

Glide is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
